While we were in Iowa we celebrated with Grandma and Pa Campbell. Thye would not be here so we went ahead. He ahd 2 cakes which he loved.

We flew to Kansas City it was cheaper plus we had to hide out a few days before the party.We went and stayed at a Great Wolf lodge and swam. They had the coolest slides for the kids. They loved it then we went to Iowa and surprised thm. We had a good time. We were excited to go in the Spring but did not realize that it was stilll cool during this time while it was 80 degrees at home.

OH! MY! It has been rather busy here. We have been doing something it seems about everyday. I am rather behing on the blog so I will try to catch up. With photos and all. After Jeremiah birthday we left for Iowa to surprise Joseph parents for there 50 Anniversary. Then when I got back I had a Mother Daughter that I planned. I had it ready before I left but the final touches. It turned out rather well.

Then we had recitals for Jeremiah and Mollie. Titus birthday he is now 6 thank the Lord no party. Field trips, end of the year party, graduation parties, teen band concerts you name it we have been to it. Look for the pictures to see what we have done in a month.

On May 1st Jeremiah turned 10 we have now hit the double digit numbers. Sometimes I cannot believe that he is already 10. I will have pictures to post after his his party tomorrow. Trip to Savannah in Spring Break

Well I would have posted these pictures earlier but I had problems downloading them on the blog. This was an iteresting weekend trip. We went back to Savannah to see where we use to live and where we went to church. The kids have been asking questions so we went. It was beautiful there. We took a trolley ride, met with friends to eat. Well on Sat. Titus woke up saying his tummy hurt well we waited to see. He did not eat much but he ate. We went to walk River street and we got to the River and he said Mom I am going to thow up. Sure enough he did in a trash can. Then at a cros walk after the cross walk and grate that the sewer runs thr ough we added some yuck. We got to the car after we ended our walk quicker. We did not even get to eat at Lady N Sons or nothing. We went to eat on our way to the beach he threw up He wanted to go to the beach so bad so we went for 2 hours or so. On the beach he threw up. We covered it with sand and kept going. After the beach we got ready for the ride home. We are just getting out of Savannah. I gave Titus the empty wipe box and said throw up in this. Well as we are leaving Jeremiah says he needs the wipe box and threw up all in the van. He even did it 2 more times and never made it to the box all the way. We still had a good time thought despite all the throwing up.

On Spring break we went to my Parents house and did fun things after we visited Grandma in the Nursing Home each day. This Day we went to Pamplin Park a History Museum where they can be a soldier and experience what it is like in those times. The kids love it especially since they are studing all this in school.

We went today for Mollie's first eye appointment. We went for a reason and that was because people were telling me that she was squinting alot. Thank you people who told me. Well she needs glasses. She had a hard time with the appointment I think because she finally told herself she could not see. Her vision is 20/80 and it is her right eye that is the problem. I let her pick out what she wanted with a little help but not much because she has to live with them not me.

I will post a picture once she gets them. This will open up a whole new world for her.

This is our CindyLoo Hoo!!!! It was crazy hair night for Master Clubs so we went wild for the Campbells this is the best we can do. We do not have alot of wild streak in us. At camp they put coke bottles in there hair to make it stand up. Well Mollie's hair is not long enough for the little pint water bottles either so we went to tea set cups. They worked.

Titus went with spiked hair. So did Jeremiah but we did not get a picture because he went with dady to pick up a teen.

We have a new light rail that runs to uptown. I have been promising the kids that we will go on it. Amie said let go and eat uptown. Well we have never eaten uptown at all. We went to Pike's which is a old soda shop. The kids loved the train and the food. Mollie said a funny. Mom is this one of those places where they clean up after us. We do not eat at fancy places can you tell. What fun we had.

What has been happening

It has been awhile since I have posted Mollie, Titus and Silas have all had strep last week. We went to the Dr. about everyday it seemed with one of the them. They seem to be doing well. Silas has a really bad cold on top of it that has to be viral because he is already on an antibotic but we will see. I did not even go to church yesterday.

On Thurs. We left to go to Crown college in Tenn. None of us have ever been there. We took about 7 teens that were interested in the school. One defintely loved it and felt at home there. It is a beautiful place and if you love history they have really shown Biblical history in the college hallways. I was impressed. We took Silas and TItus with us and they enjoyed it. Mollie and Jeremiah stayed here with Pastor Waller due to school and stuff.

We are here but very tired and tired of being sick.

Thank you all for praying for the families we got to minister to last week. The family of the twins received word today that it was most likely Sids. As for the other family, the funeral went well. Joseph spoke some and did a great job. This funeral was a reminder for us but it also reminded us that only God comforts and no one else. we realized through our trial and I hope these families do.

Yesterday Silas was walking all day along the walls. Last night he took five steps. he realized what he was doing and stopped. I think he may be walking by Christmas. What a wonderful present that will be. He really is getting too heavy to carry.

Well since last Thursday at least it has been crazy. I recieved a call from my friend Sherry. Her sister had twins 7 weeks ago. Hannah passed away that morning so similiar to how Logan did. I am proud of her for how she is handling it all together. I flew out on Sat to be with them. they ahd the funeral on Sunday and I just got back yesterday evening. Continue to pray for the Jarrod and Heather Sellars and their families. Also, Monday while I was in Georgia Joseph got a call that a family in our church Sisters daughter baby died that morning as well. Also, pray for their salvation status first and then the grieving process as well. We should find out today when the funeral and all is happening. So to say the least the it has been emotional here.

We went Bowling as a family afetr school on Friday. The kids thought that was a cool idea. We had not had a lot of family time lately and we were trying hard to do something. The kids did real well with the bumpers on and Titus had help with a tool that you just put the ball on top and then push it real hard and it will roll down itself. He liked it.

Well lets just say for 2 weeks someone in this house has been sick. As soon as we think that we are well forget it we are not. Last week it was the throw up with Titus and Jeremiah. Jospeh was at PCC for some board meeting and I was alone. Now this week, Jeremiah and Titus have been out of school for 2 days then went to school yesterday, no fevers. Today Jeremiah has a fever again. Also, this morning Silas threw up. He has been teething bad as well. SO this morning he also had 3 yucky diapers in 15 minutes.

It is crazy here!!!!

I opened the windows and we are defineletly cleaning the house. It least it is only going to be 70 something today compared to 90.

Silas Doctor report

Silas went to the Dr. on Tues for his one year check up. He was 18lbs. 6 oz. This is great since at his 9 month in May he was only 14lbs. He gained 4 lbs iin 3 months. We are so glad. Of course he had reflux and they gave him meds. we used it for a week or two but it did not change his behavior so I dropped the bottle and started him with milk and regular food. This was when he was 9 months and that explaines why he gained all the weight. He loves to eat now. Everything he canget his hands on.

Monday was the first day of school. Jeremiah is in the 4th grade.
Mollie is in the second grade.
Titus is in Kindergarden. This is his first time going to school. He was so excited about it that he did not go to sleep until 11 the night before. He loves it so far.

Each day we would work on the college campus or do wahtever the missionary would ask of us and then the evening we would go to the bays to snorkel or cool off. We had no air condition all week so we had to cool our body temperature some how.

Pastor Charles he was the missionary that we worked with. This Silas and him after services. Jospeh preached for the mroning and the girls sang and Donna played the piano. Ben preached that night. We were blessed by being there.

Girls Dorm. We stayed a Bluewater Bible Collge. It was on one end of the island and the church was on the other. The island is only 14 miles long but very steep hills.

Today 5 years ago Logan went home to be with Jesus. Today we went to the cemetery to visit Logan's place. We go take a picture and sing a song we have song from day one. We talked about the day some with the children. They seem to remember all the good things. We do too but remember the actually event of sadness too. This morning it was hard to check on Silas because we were afraid but once we saw his smile we lost the fear and we excited that we have him. God knows all and one day we will see him. Just knowing that as of today all my children will be heaven is wonderful. We still pray for Silas for salvation but the others have made profession.

It has been a busy couple of weeks for us. We had camp two weeks ago which went well. This was Jeremaih first time to go to camp. It was boot camp at the WILDS. He loved it and made a grand decision to be a youth pastor. We were excited about that. Then we got back and went to the Sword Conference for a few days. AN dnow we are home for a week. On sunday I will take the 3 big kids to my Mom's so that we can got to a Missions trip to St. Thomas. We leave early on Tues. the 7th and will be back on the 14th. This is not a vacation we will be sweating it with no air all week. Then when we get back Birthday party for Silas which I will share. I will keep you posted.

jospeh had the priviledge of Baptizing Titus and Jeremiah on Sunday Night. Another little boy was baptize on Sun. Morn and we had been praying for Jeremiah especially about doing it. He is 9 but was scared of being infront of people. So we bluntly said that he could not move forward spiritually without obedience to God on this matter. He agreed humbly and went forward. Titus followed.

We went to the little town of Waxhaw to see the fireworks. While we were there the Abbotts and the Lees were there. While we were waiting for the traffic to leave we talked and the kids played. They all rode the horse. We were outside a Dollar General store having a good time. Silas for being 10-11 at night was doing prety good. He still has a smile and was not bothered by the noise of the fireworks.

Last week was NBT week which is alot for us. Late Nights and Busy days. Titus had a Mexican story of a little boy all week and the night of the program they wore Sombreros and ponchos to perform in. He got to keep the sombrero which he is excited about.

We found him one nap time pull up in his bed. He was so excited that he just squealed as loud has he could. Now he pulls up often.

When we would take Jeremiah for swim lesson which he had at 8:30 in the morning I would bring the other ones to the splash park. I am not a fan of going to public pools or mix swimming but we were so early that there were only a few people there. Once it got 10 everyone came and we would leave.

New Van

We were not planning on buying a new van but a part to a power steering was leaking fluid. Jospeh would ahve to put fluid in everyday. Joseph could not fix and since our van was already old we broke down and got a new one. We got the same van but new nad fully loaded. The kids love it. We are taking it to Durham today to see my nieces and nephew graduate. It even has the DVD in it. We got a great deal on it!! I have not even driven it yet.

We needed to do some home improvements to our house. We tore down our screened in porch and put a large deck. We now have the walls on the deck but still need the stairs. We are also getting siding. Our house will no longer be yellow.

I always have to celebrate on there actual day. We had left over cake from the party. We had candles this time. On the party we cold not because of the wind. We saved a few presents to open up on his day. He loved the race track and has been playing with it all day.

We went to Charlotte at play yesterday. It was free if you brought a creative donation. They had face painting and magic show and free cake. To a 5 year old that was wonderful. In the play that let you use your imagination. They have set up centers like construction, art, pirate ship with mops to clean the deck. They have the grocery store with cash reisters and all. We had fun. Titus got picked to be in the magic show. he was picking a boy who was sitting up straight and had big grin. If you know Titus he has a real big grin. He had to make the ball disappear and it kep mutiplying. He had fun and really enjoyed it especially since it was his birthday too.

Shining Light

We went to Shining LIght on Saturday. They have there own camp. This was not a camp but a youth rally. We fished around the pond and paddleboated. The boys played basketball, football and lots of the girls played volleyball. I brought Jeremiah and Mollie with us this time. Mollie loves to fish.

We had Titus 's party at the park and all his friends came. We had pizza, cake, pinata and loads of fun. Thanks for everyone that came and for all his goodies. He recieved tons of CARS and art supplies.

Dr. Visit today

We went to the Dr. today for his 9 month check up. He was 14 9oz. 291/4 in long. He is still a little small. He said as long as he is following the curve then he is OK. He got his heal prick but no shots. I though he had an ear infection but he does not. He is getting his top 2 teeth in but other than that a healthy little boy.

Porch is gone

Our porch on the back is completely been taken off. We are having siding put on Wed. and the porch was rottening. Joseph took it off and is after siding is on then we will put on a larger deck.

We are excited about that is happening to our house.

I was spoiled rotten today. I even had breakfast made for me. It was cinnamon rolls and my coffee was ready too. This is even especially hard on a Sunday when my husband has to drive the church bus. We went out to eat on Saturday night due to the bus. I also got the swing that you see Joseph and Silas on. I needed a new one. Thanks!!!! Joseph and the kids.

We leave Silas on the floor and he find everything. This time the sports page which Joseph was happy about.
Silas has a beautiful smile. At least his Mom thinks so.
We sit Silas on the riding toy. He likes it but only stays for a few minutes or he will lean to the side.

As of May 16th they will start work on putting on our new siding. The colors are Pebblestone Clay and Linen trim with Black shudders.

Jeremiah's Birthday

Jeremiah's Birthday was May 1st. It was a busy day with piano and all that day as well. We did not have super til like 8 and then opened presents and had cake. He got what he wanted except for the clothes but he still liked them. Fon Samuel and DJ came over on the weekend and beat the Narnia game.
